Why Train With Pulsus

Serving Charlotte, North Carolina & Surrounding Communities

Pulsus instructors are seasoned EMS providers dedicated to creating a non-intimidating learning environment. As EMS providers, we understand that expanding the public’s knowledge is essential to higher success rates for cardiac resuscitation.

Our success starts with early effective CPR from lay people who take classes like these. Every student we teach becomes a potential partner in helping us save more lives.

Pulsus owner, Bill Moran, has been teaching CPR for over 25 years. He became an EMT in 1991 and Paramedic in 2004. He has served as a volunteer at Hyattsvile Volunteer Fire Department (Prince Georges County, MD) since 1991.

He taught EMS classes at the University of Maryland’s Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute for several years before moving to Charlotte. He practiced as a paramedic in Union County, NC for 5 years and continues to volunteer at Hyattsville as well as Fort Mill Rescue (SC).

He has worked 20 years at IBM in Corporate Learning as an instructor and curriculum architect.

He is passionate about teaching and passionate about EMS. He loves teaching CPR and First Aid to the general public because they are the first critical link in the chain of survival.
